North and West Coast Wales

As you drive out to the headland you come to South Stack overlooking the Irish Sea to the Llyn Peninsula. This is a Nature Reserve and a haven for wildlife especially the birds that nest in the sea cliffs. It is a lovely walk from the information centre that takes you down to Ellins Tower (left) and South Stack Island and Lighthouse (right). On a clear day you can see right across from Anglesea to Snowdonia on the mainland.
